NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The Cornell women's track and field team finished fourth at the 2022 Outdoor Heptagonal Championship at Yale's Dwyer Track. The Big Red won four individual titles and established one new Big Red record during the two-day meet.
• Senior
Beatrice Juskeviciute scored a meet-record 5,594 to run away from the field in the heptathlon, with sophomore
Rachel Bonnet also scoring with a 4,429, just four points off her career best.

Brooke Overholt claimed the Heps championship in the 400m hurdles with a 58.03 final run, a time that was nearly two seconds faster than the runner-up finisher. Teammate
Nyia Cummings took fifth in 1:02.71.

Marguerite Lorenzo won the title in the high jump with her leap of 1.79m (5-10 1/2), a mark that ranks second all-time at Cornell. Teammate
Margaux Rawson placed fourth with a height of 1.70m (No. 9 all-time at Cornell at 5-7), a height matched by senior
Monique Anderson, but on fewer misses.
• The 4x100 relay of
Ama Boham,
Jada Smith, Isabella Davis and
Lauren Jones scored with its fourth-place effort in 45.92.
• Both Overholt (second, 13.59 - No. 2 all-time at Cornell) and Boham (fifth, 14.01 - No. 7 all-time at Cornell) added points in the 100m hurdles.

Gwen Parks tallied for the Big Red in the 800 meters in 2:15.22, grabbing sixth overall.
• The 4x400 relay of
Kayleigh Furth,
Nia Robinson, Jukeviciute and Overholt reached the podium in third in 3:47.57.
Qualifying athletes will compete at the NCAA East Preliminary Round from May 25-28 in Bloomington, Ind.
