NEW YORK, N.Y. - The Cornell men's cross country team took the course at Van Cortlandt Park on Friday morning, earning a ninth-place finish among 34 schools.
Derek Amicon was the leader of Big Red runners, crossing the tape in the 36th-place slot with his time of 24:41. Five Ivy League schools participated in the run, with Cornell finishing second in the group behind only Columbia.
