ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell women's swimming and diving team dominated in the pool on Saturday afternoon against St. Bonaventure, defeating the Bonnies, 149-89. The Big Red clinched wins in nine events, including four 1-2 finishes.

Cornell opened the swimming portion of the dual with a 1-2 finish in the 400-Yard Medley Relay. Marie Williams, Amy Wu, Emilie Boisrenoult, and Priscilla Wongso took home the victory with a 3:54.67. Hojung Yoon, Audrey Holden, Chloe Addiego, and Kate Li touched the wall about four seconds after, recording a 3:58.75.

The Big Red also shined in the freestyle events. Erin DeHollander and Allie Danko paced the Big Red to a 1-2 finish in both the 500-Yard Freestyle and 1000-Yard Freestyle, while Kate Li (1:53.43) and Katherine Yee (1:54.56) finished 1-2 in the 200-Yard Freestyle. Senior Priscilla Wongso also home the 50-Yard Freestyle win with a 23.72, 0.14 seconds ahead of St. Bonaventure's Ellie Kraus.

Kate Li was not finished picking up victories on the night, as the sophomore took home the 100-Yard Freestyle title with a time of 51.81, almost one second ahead of second-place finisher Kraus from St. Bonaventure. Freshman Hojung Yoon also continued to impress for the Big Red, winning the 200-Yard Backstroke by 0.14 seconds over Bonaventure's Anna Forjan.

The diving portion also swung in the Big Red's favor, as the team picked up 1-2-3 finishes in both the 1-Meter and 3-Meter events. Morgan Ogata won the 1-Meter Dive with a combined 240.53, and Brooke Andrews clinched the 3-Meter event with 271.58 points.

With Saturday night's victory, Cornell improves to 8-3 over the Bonnies, dating back to the 1996-97 season, and matched its nine-first-place finishers from a year ago in Olean. It is also the second consecutive season that the Big Red has started its season 2-0.
