Big Red Stands Sixth With 428 Points After Ivies Day Three

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Cornell women's swimming and diving team completed day three of the 2026 Ivy League Championships. Through 13 events, the Big Red sits sixth in the team standings with 428 points. Princeton leads the field with 948 points, followed by Penn (770), Harvard (744.5), Brown (736) and Yale (606).

Katherine Yee led Cornell in the 100-yard butterfly, finishing 14th in 54.71 to score 13 points, while Ming Xu added four points with a 21st-place finish in 55.19. In the 400-yard IM, Hojung Yoon paced the Big Red with a 10th-place finish in 4:16.98 to score 17 points. Oceane Vanlinthout placed 15th in 4:20.27 (12 points), and Katie Ferreira added six points with a 19th-place finish in 4:19.41.

Cornell earned a strong showing in the 200-yard freestyle as Jungmin Yoon placed 10th in 1:47.78 to score 17 points. Erin DeHollander also scored with a 24th-place finish in 1:53.15. Audrey Holden led Cornell in the 100-yard breaststroke with an 11th-place finish in 1:02.98 to earn 16 points. Jasmine Xu added six points with a 19th-place finish in 1:04.20, and Nicole Byrnes-Cortinas scored four points with a 21st-place finish in 1:05.48.

In the 100-yard backstroke, Rosalee Springer finished 11th in 54.52 to score 16 points, Aly Yokoyama placed 13th in 54.69 (14 points), and Ming Xu added nine points with a 17th-place finish in 54.66. Cornell closed the evening with a sixth-place finish in the 400-yard medley relay. The team of Springer, Holden, Yee and Jungmin Yoon posted a time of 3:41.14 to score 48 points.

The Cornell women's swimming and diving team will return to the pool tomorrow, as it will look to close out the Ivy League Championships on a strong note. Competitions are slated to begin at 11:00 a.m. at Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center.
