Adler, Kirst Named to 2023 Tewaaraton Watch List

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Tewaaraton Foundation has announced it's 2023 watch list as week one of the men's lacrosse season kicks off. The list consists of 50 representatives from 29 different schools. The Big Red was one of 14 schools to be represented by more than one athlete. CJ Kirst and Gavid Adler are the two representatives for Cornell.

The Tewaaraton Award is an annual honor granted to the top men's and women's player in collegiate lacrosse. The awardee is voted on be a full selection committee, which is comprised of some of the top collegiate coaches appointed by the foundation.

"These student-athletes represent the very best at the collegiate level and have honored the Creator's game with their past play," said Andy Phillips, president of the Tewaaraton Foundation in the foundation's release. "We look forward to watching them achieve new heights this season for both themselves and their teammates."
