Cornell women's track and field took the course on Friday at Boston University (track events) and RIT (field events). The Big Red registered several PRs to go along with a 4x400 group that ran its fastest time in two years.
The 4x400 group of
Nia Robinson,
Delaney Benedict,
Glenn Parker, and
Reyne Rodrigues placed third (3:43.06) in their relay which consisted of 49 groups.
Sarah Roffman (9:50.08), Marge Dalseth (9:55.04),
Kaitlyn Roffman (9:56.17), and Avery Bull (10:18.29) registered personal bests in the 3000-meter event.
Clara Harman and
Amanda Stone both ran a time of 2:54, which serves as personal bests for both runners.
Mairead Clas (4:55.19) and
Katja Jackson (4:56.67) broke the five-minute mark in the mile for the first time.
Victoria Atkinson represented the Big Red in the pole vault at RIT, registering a first place finish with a mark of 3.95 meters.
Quincy Hansen was the second-place finisher in the pole vault with a mark of 3.80 meters.
Noelle Elkinton (14.09 meters) placed first in the shot put, to go along with her second-place mark in the weight throw event.
Phoebe Price-Roberts had a first-place finish in the weight throw with a mark of 17.18 meters.

Next Up
The Big Red will be back in action next weekend for competition in South Bend, Indiana at the Alex Wilson Invitational.
