ITHACA, N.Y. - Cornell softball took the diamond for day two of the Stetson Classic for a two-game slate against North Florida and Stetson. The Big Red came up short in both games on Saturday.
The opening game of the day did not go the way of Cornell as they took a 6-3 loss to North Florida. Runs from Harrod (two) and London Reagon (one) were not enough to push the Big Red to victory.
Gabrielle Maday totaled six strikeouts from the mound.
Cornell came short in it's late-innings rally attempt as the Stetson Hatters ran away with a 5-3 victory.

Julie Hilcken registered runs for the Big Red.
Kyrie Denny struck out three hitters in the game.
