CANTON, N.Y. - Women's ice hockey visited Appleton Arena on Saturday evening for an ECAC Hockey matchup against the St. Lawrence Saints. The Big Red played strong in the first two periods, but surrendered three consecutive late-game goals leading to a 3-2 comeback home-victory for the Saints.
Gillis Frechette extended her point-streak to seven games with a first-period Big Red goal to give Cornell a 1-0 advantage.
Mckenna Van Gelder added to the lead as she intercepted the puck and skated down the ice for an unassisted goal.
St.Lawrence put in a pair of goals late in the third period from Chloe Puddifant and Kristina Bahl to knot the game up at 2-2. The Saints put in their third consecutive goal, which came from Julia Gosling in overtime, to complete their rally efforts.

The Big Red will return to Lynah Rink next weekend against Brown and Yale in Ivy-League competition. Game action will be broadcast to ESPN+.
