ITHACA, N.Y. - The no. 6-ranked Cornell women's ice hockey team defeated Dartmouth 14-0 at Lynah Rink on Friday night. The Big Red improved to 16-5-1 while the Big Green dropped to 5-16-2.

Kaitlin Jockims recorded hat-tricks in the contest.

The Big Red did not waste time applying offensive pressure on the Big Green, scoring five goals in the first 10 minutes of the game. The first period saw Schiff, Prefontaine, Jockims (short-handed), Daniel (short-handed), and Van Gelder light the lamp. Bergmann recorded a secondary assist on Jockims short-handed goal.
14 minutes into the second Cornell continued their potent night, adding three more to the total. Adam, Jockims (power-play), and Delianedis (power-play) were responsible for the Big Red goals in that stanza.
Six more Cornell tallies were added in the final period, with Prefontaine and Jockims earning their third of the night to complete hat-tricks. Adam (power-play, second), Yu, and Delianedis (second) also scored.
Bergmann collected 11 saves on the night, and her first-career shutout. She earned her 12th win between the pipes on the season.
