NEW YORK, N.Y. - The Cornell women's track and field team took the course at The Armory (Columbia University) on Friday and Saturday at the Dr. Sanders Invitational. Freshman record-holder
Avery Hilliard earned the top Big Red result of the weekend, registering a 3.90-meter pole vault which was good for second-place. Standout sprinter
Reyne Rodrigues collected a third-place 56.15-second finish in the 400-meter dash.
Five Cornellians earned top-10 results in their respective events.
Lauren Jones (long jump - seventh), Hilliard (pole vault- second),
Aniyah Walters (60mh - eighth),
Imani Reid (200m - ninth), and Rodrigues (400m - third)Â were responsible for top-10 finishes.
