ITHACA, N.Y. -- Cornell Sailing took to the waters this weekend in full force, earning the top spot at the MAISA Women's Fall Dinghy Championships, hosted by Old Dominion, and a sixth-place finish at War Memorial, hosted by St. Mary's (Md.). The win at Old Dominion marks the Big Red's first conference title since the 2021 season.
Cornell posted a perfect sweep at the MAISA Women's Fall Dinghy Championship, finishing first in both the A and the B divisions for a combined 48 points ahead of both second-place finishers. Seniors
Bridget Green and
Amelia Neumann combined offers in the A division, only finishing outside of the top three in one race, and posting three first-place finishes. In the B Division, sophomore
Winborne Majette acted as skipper while Sohpia Mulvania served as crew. The pair posted a podium finish in all but two races, including eight first-place finishes out of just 13 races.
At the War Memorial regatta, the Big Red placed sixth in both the A and B divisions. junior

Gilda Dondona shared skipper duties while junior
Sophia Mulvania and freshmen Ava Steven traded off on crew. The group combined for four podium finishes including a first-place finish in the fifth race.
