ITHACA, N.Y. — The Cornell men's polo team will play the University of Connecticut on Friday, Nov. 15 at 7:00 p.m. at the Oxley Equestrian Center looking to notch another win before its home invitational at the end of the month.
The Big Red are currently 4-2 on the season. In the team's last time out, they had a perfect 3-0 weekend defeating Work-To-Ride (20-7), Babson College (16-15) and Harvard University (26-1).
Freshman Max Sponer led the weekend scoring with 25 goals over the course of the three games. Junior Benito Jaramillo Samper was the next highest in scoring with 14 goals. Freshman Dylan Tung and senior Christian Finlay each notched 11 goals over the weekend to round out Cornell's scoring.
The Big Red will look to move to 5-2 on the season when they face off against UConn on Friday, Nov. 15 at 7:00 p.m. at the Oxley Equestrian Center.
