ITHACA, N.Y. — Despite overcoming a 17-point deficit to tie the game in the fourth quarter, Cornell women's basketball lost to Bryant 60-53 on Tuesday night at Newman Arena. This moves the Big Red to 2-3 overall on the season.
Summer Parker-Hall led the team in scoring with a career-high 19 points. Vivienne Knee led the team in rebounds with eight, Paige Engels and Azareya Kilgoe both led the team in assists with three, Parker Hall and Emily Pape both had one block and Knee and Engels each had two steals.
As a team, the Big Red shot 37.7 percent from the field, 16.6 percent from three and 73.3 percent from the line.
Cornell showed resilience throughout this match-up overcoming a game opening 17-point deficit to tie the game in the fourth quarter, before allowing the Bulldogs to go on a 10-2 run to end the game.

Cornell opened up the fourth quarter scoring with a six-point run to take the lead for the first time in the game 48-46 with 7:17 left in the game and forcing Bryant to call a timeout.

Bryant came out of the timeout and went on a five-point run to give the Bulldogs the lead once again.

Azareya Kilgoe hit a jumper for Cornell to cut Bryant's lead to one with four-minutes left of play.
