PRINCETON, N.J. - The Cornell women's ice hockey team defeated the Princeton Tigers 4-3 on Saturday afternoon at Hobey Baker Memorial Rink. The Big Red improved to 7-3-2 and extended it's unbeated streak to seven, while the Tigers dropped to 5-5-0 on the season.

The opening period was on the Big Red's side in all categories except for the score, as Princeton netted two to claim a 2-0 lead. The first came from Khramtsov 13 minutes in. The second came from Wunder 19 minutes into the contest.
Alexander extended the Tiger's lead to 3-0 two minutes into the second period. The Big Red would respond with a flurry of goals in the second.
Delianedis began the furry mid-way through the second stanza. Prefontaine followed up with a tally to make it a one-score game. Yu, with her first goal of the season, tied the game up at 3-3. Adam found the back of the net to give Cornell it's first advantage of the evening.
The Big Red took a defensive approach in the third period, as the Tigers searched for an equalizer. Princeton's best chance came when the Big Red committed a roughing-infraction with 2:38 remaining in the game.
The Tigers pulled it's goaltender, making it a 6 on 4 advantage, but the Big Red were up to the task stopping all of Princeton's remaining opportunities to seal the three-goal come-from-behind victory.
Annelies Bergmann collected 31 saves in the game and improved to 7-3-2 on the season.

The Cornell women's ice hockey team will return to the ice to face the Rochester Institute of Technology on Tuesday, November 26. Puck drop is slated for 7:00 p.m. at Lynah Rink. Game action will be broadcast on ESPN+.
