  • Cornell women's basketball is 2-5 on the season after recording three straight losses last week to Bryant, Quinnipiac and UAlbany. 
  • Tipoff against the Lakers is on Wednesday, Nov. 27 at 1:00 p.m. The game will be streamed ESPN+.

  • The Big Red welcome new Rebecca Quinn Morgan ‘60 Head Coach of Women’s Basketball this season in Emily Garner. Garner came from Trinity College where she served as the head coach since 2016. Garner picked up her first win at the helm of the program against Army on Monday, Nov. 4.
  • Cornell was selected seventh in the Ivy League preseason media poll. The Big Red is currently in seventh as of Nov. 25, 2024. 
  • Cornell finished 7-19 in the 2023-24 season, ending at seventh in the Ancient Eight. 
  • Emily Pape leads the team in points per game with 15.1, rebounds per game with 9.1 and steals per game with 1.1. Azareya Kilgoe leads in assists per game with 3. Pape and Summer Parker-Hall lead in blocks with two apiece.

• Guided Trinity (Conn.) to a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances (2023, 2024) and the school's first-ever NESCAC regular season title.
• Teams posted a 124-55 record, including a 96-35 mark over her final five seasons.
• Four major conference award winners in the conference, including three different Defensive Players of the Year, as well as a two-time All-American.
