STREAKS, STORYLINES & SIDEBARS 

  •  Cornell women's basketball is 3-8 on the season after dropping its last game against Lehigh University on Sunday, Dec. 8 51-73. 
  • Tipoff against the Seawolves is on Sunday, Dec. 22 at 1:00 p.m. in at Stony Brook. The game will be streamed on SNY and FloHoops. 
  • Cornell is currently 1-6 on the road this season and on a six game losing streak on the road.

  • Cornell was selected seventh in the Ivy League preseason media poll. The Big Red is currently in seventh as of Dec. 19, 2024. Cornell finished 7-19 in the 2023-24 season, ending at seventh in the Ancient Eight. 
  • Emily Pape leads Cornell in points per game with 13.5, steals per game with 1.4 and rebounds per game with 7.4. Summer ParkerHall leads the team in total blocks with seven. Azareya Kilgoe leads in assists per game with 2.9.

• Guided Trinity (Conn.) to a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances (2023, 2024) and the school's first-ever NESCAC regular season title.
• Teams posted a 124-55 record, including a 96-35 mark over her final five seasons.
• Four major conference award winners in the conference, including three different Defensive Players of the Year, as well as a two-time All-American.
