Big Red Men Collects Seven Event Wins During Three-Meet Weekend

ITHACA, N.Y. - The Cornell men's track and field team took three different courses this weekend at the Tiger Paw Invite (Clemson University), David Valentine Invite (Boston University), and the Ithaca Tri/Quad Meet (Ithaca College). The Big Red earned seven event wins over the course of the weekend.

Tiger Paw Invite
Cornell took way to the Tiger Paw Invite hosted by Clemson University. Brad Morell earned the highest finish for the Big Red, taking sixth in the weight throw and eighth in the shot put. Noah Harman finished just outside of the top-10 in the shot put, earning an 11th-place result.

Ithaca Tri/Quad Meet
Jack Daly (400-meter dash), Michael Dizon-Bumann (800-meter run), Ryan Johnson (mile), Shane Racey (pole vault), Ryan Brynjolfson (long jump), Mannie Arbabi (shot put), and the 4x400-relay group collected first-place results for the Big Red.

Daly (200-meter dash), Jeremy Henderson (400-meter dash), Caleb Straayer (800-meter run), and Andy O'Brien (mile), Ryan Brynjolfson (60-meter hurdles), Vicentejordan Vanderlipe (pole vault), Josh Green (long jump), and Ryan Antwi (triple jump) earned second-place results on the day.

David Valentine Invitational
Jacob Patonya (1000-meter run) and Tyler Tisinger (800-meter run) earned the best Big Red finishes in Boston on the weekend, placing 32nd and 43rd respectively. Jake Gelfand had a productive outing, finishing 60th in the unseeded 3000-meter run.
