ITHACA, N.Y. - The Cornell women's track and field team competed at the Marc Deneault Invitational at Barton Hall on Saturday.
Cornell earned eight event-wins, with two of those coming from standout freshman
Brianna Beckham. Beckham (60- and 200-meter dash),Â
Avery Brull (3000-meter run),
Aniyah Walters (60-meter hurdles),
Avery Hilliard (pole vault),
Lauren Jones (long jump),
Sarah Caldwell (triple jump), and
Noelle Elkinton (shot put) earned first place results on the day.
Justine Hounsel (400-meter dash),
Lucea Wright (800-meter run), Jenalee Dunn (mile), Quincey Hansen (pole vault), Maddie Packer (long jump),
Cassidy Cheesman (triple jump),
Charli Stewart (shot put), and
Noelle Elkinton (weight throw) captured second-place marks.
