PRINCETON, N.J. -- Cornell tops the 2024 Ivy League Preseason Men's Lacrosse poll with a perfect 98 points. The Big Red voted number one for the second consecutive year, receiving all 14 first-place votes. Cornell is the first unanimous No. 1 since 2018 when Yale was selected as the preseason favorite.
Coming in second is Yale, who entered the season ranked top-10 in the preseason national polls. Defending Ivy League tournament champions Princeton closely followed in third with 73 points. Penn accumulated 55 points to finish fourth, while Harvard (40 points), Brown (32 points) and Dartmouth (15 points) rounded out the final three slots.
Cornell also enters the season with the highest national ranking among the Ivies, picked as the preseason #7 in the USILA, Inside Lacrosse, and USA Lacrosse magazine polls, the Big Red has moved up to #5 in the USILA and USA Lacrosse polls. The Big Red has tabbed four preseason All-Americans in
