CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Cornell women's tennis fell to #39 Harvard, 4-0, in a road test on Saturday afternoon. The loss was the second of the year against the Crimson after falling by the same mark in the ECAC Championships. With the loss, Cornell falls to 7-12 (0-4 Ivy), and Harvard improves to 17-2 (3-0).

Harvard took the double's point with two quick wins. The Crimson's Holly Fischer and Stephanie Yakoff bested Lauren Stein and Jenny Wong, 6-2, and Rachel Arbitman and Kavya Karra topped Emma Baker and Victoria Zhao, 6-2.

In singles play, Fischer again got the better of Stein, winning 6-0, 6-1 in the no. 1 match. Yakoff beat Michelle Ryndin in the no. 2 match, 6-1, 6-2, and Sany Gawande secured the Harvard win with a 6-2, 7-5, victory over Victoria Zhao.

The Big Red has its chance to bounce back tomorrow when it takes on Dartmouth at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 14.
