LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Cornell men's track and field team competed in the Bison Outdoor Classic (Bucknell) and Larry Ellis Invitational (Princeton) this past weekend. The Big Red claimed six victories throughout the weekend. Derek Amicon (1500m open), Justin Wei (110 hurdles), Domenic Barresi (100m and 200m) earned the wins to go along with two Cornell 4x100 relay wins. Three shifts were made within the Cornell top-10 records by the end of the weekend.

Larry Ellis Invitational

Notable finishes 

• Joseph Rachiele took third in the javelin, his sixth round throw was a personal-best of 56.75 meters.
• Brad Morell took sixth in the hammer throw.
• Damian Hacket earned fifth in the 800-meter run and personal-bested with a mark of 1:49.32 making him seventh in school history.
• Derek Amicon took the top spot in the 1500-meter open with a PR.
• Rhys Hammond was fifth in the elite 1500-meter run (3:42.57) which is a presumptive East Regional qualification (first round NCAAs).
• 4x100 relay group ran a 40.40-second time putting them ninth all-time. 
• Justin Wei won the 110-meter hurdles with a PR of 14.13 seconds, putting him seventh all-time.
• Ryder King earned runner-up status in the 110-meter hurdles. 
• Tomas Kersulis was the runner-up in the 400-meter dash (47.08). 
• Domenic Barresi won the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.68; also won the 200-meter dash (20.99 seconds).
• Ryder King claimed second in the 400-meter hurdles (52.84 seconds).

Bison Outdoor Classic

Notable finishes

• Ryan Brynjolfson took fourth in the decathlon with a PR of 6280 points (won HJ event and runner up in LJ, 110m hurdles, and PV; new PRs in 100m, 400m, Discus, PV, 1500m).
• Patrick Brewer claimed fifth in the decathlon with a PR of 6118 points (won javelin and tied for runner up in PV; new PRs in 100m, 110m hurdles, javelin).
• Jacob Pantoya grabbed a 1500-meter run heat win  with a personal-best 4:01.25.
• Alex Kasper was fourth in the unseeded 5k with a PR of 15:10.
• Tomas Foster was fifth in the unseeded 10k with a PR of 30:53.36.
• Aryan Abbaraju was the runner up in the invite 5000-meter run heat with a PR of 14:43.02.
• 4x100 relay squad won with a time of 40.71 seconds.
• Desmond Whitley took fourth in the triple jump (14.50 meters).
• Ryder King took second, Justin Wei third, and Charles Wall-Davis sixth th in 110-meter hurdles.
• Mike Mazero claimed fifth in the 400-meter dash with a 47.89-second personal-best.
• Domenic Barresi claimed third in the 100-meter dash (10.53) ; Mark Skerl was 11th with a personal-best 10.73 seconds.
• Ryder King was third in the 400-meter hurdles (52.92 seconds); Charles Wall-Davis sixth with a PR of 53.90.
• Angus Dove took third in the 200-meter dash with a 21.44-second personal-best; Josh Gittens finished sixth with a 21.54-second PR.
