LEXINGTON, Ky. - Big Red pole vaulter Avery Hilliard was the lone women's track and field Cornellian to compete on day two of the NCAA East First Rounds. Hilliard matched the Cornell school record in the pole vault with her 4.20-meter mark to finish in15th-place.

The women's track and field team will be back in action on Saturday when Margaret Dalseth (3000 steeplechase) and Augustine Haquet (1500m) will be looking to punch tickets to Eugene in their respective distance events.
