Annapolis, Md. – Cornell volleyball continues play at the Kristen Dickmann Invitational notching a 3-0 (25-17, 25-23, 25-23) win over tournament host Navy.

Freshman Haley Clark secured double digit kills (10) on top of nine digs and two service aces in her second match with the Big Red.

Junior Eliza Konvicka follows closely behind with eight kills and team high four blocks.

Doga Ozalp grabs 25 assist for the Big Red.

First Set (25-17 Cornell)

The Big Red start hot with a 3-0 run with first point coming off a kill from Konvicka. After a short back and forth battle Cornell pulls ahead to 15-9 after a 6-0 run.

Toward the end of the match, big blocks come from Ava Bogan and Jaida Sione to make it 20-13.

The first set ends with two more kills from Clark and a service error from Navy.

Konvicka lead the offensive and defensive efforts with three kills and four digs in the opening set.

Second Set (25-23 Cornell)

Cornell opens the second set with a 5-0 lead.

With a kill from Sione, Cornell goes on a 3-0 run.

Navy then picked up the momentum of the game, slowly picking up points before getting shut down with back to back kills by freshman Mackenzie Parsons (19-13) forcing a Navy timeout

Navy battles back with a 6-0 run to tie the game at 19-19 before three kills from Clark and Konvicka snap the streak.

The game at 23-23, after a service error from Navy, making it 24-23, Clark come to the service line with an ace to put away the set.

Third Set (25-22 Cornell)

Another early run from Cornell forces an early timeout from Navy at 3-0.

Blocks from Parsons and Konvicka followed by a kill from Camryn Carlo puts the Big Red up 6-0.

Navy responds with three kills and an ace to cut the margin to 8-6

Clark comes in with back to back kills and an ace from Sarita Pomar to keep Cornell control.

Sione buries three kills in a row to make it 17-13.

The rest of the match was back and forth points between Cornell and Navy with final kills coming from Carlo and Konvicka to put the Big Red on top.

Carlo finished the match with five kills on a .667 clip over the final set.
