ITHACA, N.Y. - Big Red forward Lindzi Avar has been named ECAC Hockey Rookie of The Week for the third time this season. Avar scored two goals this weekend, including the game-winner against Harvard to help Cornell extend its unbeaten streak to five and collect its 17th Ivy League title in program history.

Avar has had the hottest stick for Cornell so far this season. The freshman forward leads the Big Red with 13 goals to go along with five assist which puts her second on the team in points. Avar is currently on a six-game point-streak.
