Mckenna Van Gelder has been named ECAC Hockey Forward of The Week after Cornell's three-game stand against Syracuse and Vermont. The Big Red captain notched four points on two goals and two assists across the span. She also controlled the faceoff dot, earning 35 wins on the draw.

Van Gelder and the no. 8-ranked Cornell women's ice hockey team gets set to host ECAC Hockey opponents no. 9 Quinnipiac and no. 11 Princeton for a weekend series. The Big Red and the Bobcats will meet on Friday, December 5th at 6:00 p.m. at Lynah Rink. Cornell will face the Tigers on Saturday, December 6th at 3:00 p.m. at Lynah Rink.
