ITHACA, N.Y. – Cornell men's track and field swept five events at the Kane Invitational in Barton Hall on Saturday.
Ryder King, Teddy Rauchway and Charles Wall-Davis were the top three finishers in the 60m hurdles while Michael Mazero, Fabien De Silva, Neil Chowdhury and Seamus Finn were the four fastest times in the 400m dash.
Cornell distance had a successful day sweeping the 500m, 800m and 1000m. In the 500m, Tyler Tisinger had a time of 1:05.89 to take first followed by Jason Meza and Jack Daly. Tyler Canaday won the 800m in a time of 1:55.68 with Ryan Johnson, Nick Norris and Asher Patel following up. Cornell also had the top five fastest times in the 1000m with Peyton Shute leading the group with a time of 2:26.55 followed by Matthew O'Brien, Colin Martens, Caleb Straayer and Andrew Ordway.
Panashe Nhenga finished first in 60m with a time of 6.82 seconds and 200m in 22.27 seconds.
Michael Prieto jumped 2.08m to win the high jump and Eli Gault-Crabb placed first in the pole vault with a mark of 5.38 to move up to second in Cornell's history book.
The relay team of Ryan Johnson, Tyler Tisinger, Nick Norris and Colin Martens finished second in the 4x400 relay.
Other top three finishes include Gabe Ball with a 1.92m mark in the high jump to place third, Kegan Mancabelli in third for the pole vault with a height of 4.75m, Noah Harman in the shot put with a mark of 16.60m to place third and Desmond Whitley and Josh Green finished second and third in the triple jump.
