ITHACA, N.Y. – The Cornell wrestling team celebrated senior day with a 27-18 win over the Bucknell Bison in Friedman Wrestling on Saturday afternoon.
The match started with a forfeit from Bucknell to give the Big Red a six-point edge. No. 30 Josh Saunders and No. 20 Ethan Fernandez each grabbed bout wins to give Cornell a two-point advantage going into halftime.
Seniors No. 5 Julian Ramirez and No. 6 Chris Foca each won their final bouts in Frideman. Ramierz earned a ranked win over No. 22 Noah Mulvaney while Foca picked up a technical fall over Logan Deacetis.
No. 24 Mikey Dellagatta had a quick match with a fall in 1:56 over Mikey Bartush.
