BOSTON, Mass. - The Cornell men's swimming and diving team concluded two days of competition at the Boston Winter Open on Saturday night. The Big Red men recorded multiple top-three finishes, including a win by
Mac Marsh in the 50-yard freestyle.
Marsh finished first in the 50 free with a time of 20.28 seconds.
Mark Rydberg placed fourth with a time of 20.78 seconds, and
Phillip Osadsky finished seventh with a time of 21.18 seconds. In the 200-yard IM,
Reid Brophy placed third with a time of 1:50.45.
Michael Wywrocki (49.23 seconds) and
Aaron Grgurovic (49.74 seconds) finished third and fifth respectively in the 100-yard butterfly.
Cornell's 400-yard freestyle relay team of Rydberg, Marsh,
Vlad Gilszmer, and Brophy finished second with a time of 3:02.32.
Owen Dankert placed fourth in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:33.04.
Lance Borgers finished sixth in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:08.38.
