ITHACA, N.Y. – Cornell men's track and field won two events at the opening day of the 2025 Ivy League Indoor Heptagonal Championships while qualifying 11 for day two in Barton Hall on Saturday. The men currently sit in first place in the team overall standing with 25 points.
Pierre Attiogbe won the 3000m in a time of 8:00.88, setting a new facility record and grabbing 10 points for Cornell.
Eli Gault-Crabb ended the day with the top mark in the pole vault with a 5.35m also securing 10 team points for Cornell.
Kegan Macnabelli placed fourth in the pole vault behind Gault-Crabb with a mark of 5.05 to earn four points and Stepan Matura placed sixth in the long jump to earn one point with a jump of 7.04m.
The men's team also qualified 11 individuals to compete for more team points and individual championships in the finals tomorrow.
