ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell men's polo team will look to bring home the D2 Northeast Regional Title when it plays two matches at Yale's Polo & Equestrian Center beginning on Friday, March 7. The Big Red brings a 5-6 overall record into the round-robin event.
Cornell opens pool play with a matchup against the host Bulldogs on Friday, March 7 at 6:30 p.m., then faces Babson on Sunday, March 9 at 11 a.m. to complete the weekend. The Big Red and Yale have not faced each other this season, though Cornell used a last-minute goal from
Benito Jaramillo Samper to top Babson 16-15 in early November.
Head coach Tony Condo's team is 1-1 since returning from the winter break, but will be looking to qualify for the D2 Intercollegiate National Championships in Ithaca in April.
