ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell men's golf team will begin its sprint to the Ivy League championships when it competes at the Princeton Invitational at the Springdale Golf Club.
The two-day, 54-hole event will be Cornell's first competition since mid-February. The par-71 course will play at more than 5,400 yards. A year ago, the Big Red took 14th overall at the same event, carding a 937 over three rounds.
The Debusschere brothers, sophomore Tyler (74.1) and senior Jackson (74.2), pace the team in scoring average entering the weekend for a Big Red team in search of its third top-10 team finish of the year. Junior Weston Warden (75.4) and freshman TJ Betlow (76.4) have also played a majority of the rounds for the Big Red and head coach Matt Baughan.

Cornell will have one more tournament before the postseason at Columbia's Roar-EE Invitational on April 19. With two weeks until the Ivy League Championship, held April 25-27 at the Rolling Green Golf Club in Springfield, Pa., Cornell is looking to get on a roll entering postseason.
