TAMPA, Fla. – A small group of Cornell men's track and field team traveled down to the South Florida Invitational hosted by USF with competition on Friday and Saturday.
Ryder King placed sixth in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.06, and also competed in the 400m hurdles, finishing in 52.16. Jason Meza ran the same event, finishing ninth with 53.38, matching King's time.
In the jumps, Desmond Whitley landed seventh in the triple jump with a leap of 14.40m, while Stepan Matura placed 11th in the long jump at 6.95m.
Domenic Barresi showed consistency, placing eight in both the 100m (10.38) and 200m (20.96) sprints. In the 400m, Michael Mazero ran a new personal best of 47.59, finishing 13th overall.
Wrapping up the meet, the 4x400m relay team of Barresi, King, Fabien De Silva, and Mazero combined for a fifth-place finish, crossing the line in 3:15.60.
