ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell women's tennis team readied for its final Ivy weekend with a 7-0 sweep of crosstown foe Ithaca College on Thursday afternoon at Reis Tennis Center. The Big Red improved to 12-7 on the season while the Bombers slipped to 5-11 with the loss.

Seychelle Balog shut out her opponent at No. 5 singles to get Cornell rolling after sweeping the doubles point with three consecutive victories. It was over quickly, as
Martina Marica and Andrea Martinez de los Rios each claimed 6-0, 6-1 wins at No. 6 and No. 2, respectively, to close out the win. The most competitive match came at No. 1 where
Michelle Ryndin defeated the Bombers' top player, Taylor Crain, by a 6-2, 6-1 score.
Cornell will close out the 2025 regular season at home this weekend when it meets Dartmouth on Saturday, April 19 and Harvard on Sunday, April 20 with both matches starting at 1 p.m.
