#40 Men's Tennis Secures 4-0 Win Over #50 Yale

ITHACA, N.Y. — The 40th-ranked Cornell men's tennis team delivered a commanding performance against No. 50 Yale, securing a decisive 4-0 victory in Ivy League competition at the Reis Tennis Center Saturday afternoon.  
 
The Big Red established control early by capturing the doubles point with wins from pairings Rushil Khosla and Eric Verdes as well as Jack McCarthy and Adit Sinha, who earned 6-1 and 6-3 victories over their Yale counterparts, respectively.
 
Radu Papoe led the way in singles play with a straight-set 6-3, 6-2 victory at the No. 1 position, while Nathan Mao delivered a 6-1, 6-4 triumph at No. 6 singles and Felipe Pinzon won via retirement at No. 5 singles after taking the first set 6-3 and taking a 3-0 lead in set two.
 
Cornell returns to Reis Tennis Center on Sunday, April 6 when it hosts Brown at 1 p.m.
