NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Cornell men's track and field found podium placements in three events at the opening day of the 2025 Ivy League Outdoor Heptagonal Championships while qualifying eight for day two on Saturday. The men currently sit in sixth in the team overall standing with 12.5 points.
Eli Gault-Crabb delivered a dominant performance in the pole vault, claiming first place with a height of 5.21m only needing two attempts to secure the top spot.
Kegan Mancabelli tied for sixth place in the pole vault with a clearance of 4.91 meters to earn team points.
In the javelin, Joseph Rachiele finished fifth overall with a throw of 53.39m to round out the field events.
Meanwhile, Gabriel Ball is competing in the men's decathlon and currently sits in sixth place with 3,186 points after five events.
The men's team also qualified eight individuals to compete for more team points and individual championships in the finals tomorrow.
