ITHACA, N.Y. –Cornell women's track and field hosted their last home meet of the season with the Cornell Last Chance Twilight on Sunday afternoon.
Katja Jackson led the way on the track with a personal best of 2:06.14 in the 800m, a time that now ranks her fifth in Cornell history. Margaux Rawson also etched her name into the record books, clearing a personal best of 1.75m in the high jump to move into fifth all-time.
Jada Smith sprinted to victory in the 100m, stopping the clock at 12.15. Glenn Parker showcased her range with a 59.55 in the 400m and a 26.99 in the 200m.
Elise Sawyer took control of the 400m hurdles, finishing in 1:02.84, while Mairead Clas put together a strong performance in the 5000m, crossing the line in 16:34.73.
In the field, Noelle Elkinton led the way with a 14.91m mark in the shot put, and Maddie Packer earned a win in the javelin with a throw of 25.00m. Paula-Marie Brown soared 5.75m in the long jump, and Anika Sukumar claimed first in the triple jump with a leap of 12.10m. Rounding out the field events, Avery Hilliard cleared 4.22m in the pole vault.
