WORCESTER, Mass. - The Cornell women's rowing team will get set to race in the 2025 Women's Sprints Championships on Sunday, May 4 at Lake Quinsigamond. Among the 20 programs fielding boats, Cornell is one of five Ivies who are set to compete in the annual regatta. Fellow "Ancient Eight" members no. 8 Brown, no. 15 Harvard, no. 19 Columbia, and no. 21 Dartmouth will be in action during the championships.

In it's most previous trip to the Women's Sprints Championships, the Big Red 3V8 crew earned a second-place finish in the Petite Final . Along with the 3V8, the remaining four Cornell pieces (1V8, 2V8, 1V4, 2V4) all placed fourth in their respective heats, also earning spots in the Petite Finals of each classification. The 1V8 and both of Cornell's fours finished in fifth place in their finals races.
