VERONA, N.Y. — Cornell's men's golf team finds itself in sixth place after two rounds of the Red Bandanna Invitational at Turning Stone Resort, posting team scores of 309 and 317 for a 36-hole total of 626 (+50).

The Big Red trails leader Boston College by 26 strokes entering Monday's final round on the Kaluhyat course's 7,105-yard, par-72 layout.

Shep Davis leads Cornell individually, sitting tied for ninth after rounds of 72 and 78. The even-par opening round kept Davis near the top of the leaderboard before a second-round 78 dropped him to 150 (+6) overall. TJ Betlow, competing as an individual, sits tied for 13th after back-to-back rounds of 76 for a total of 152 (+8).

Viktor Stollinger recorded consecutive rounds of 79, leaving him tied for 30th with a 36-hole score of 158 (+14). Tyler Debusschere posted rounds of 81 and 78 to sit tied for 33rd at 159 (+15).

Weston Warden is tied for 50th after consecutive rounds of 82, while Adithya Venkataraghavan sits tied for 45th following rounds of 77 and 85.

South Dakota's Parker Etzel leads the individual competition at 146 (-2) after firing a tournament-low 70 in Sunday's second round. Boston College maintains its team advantage despite posting 304 in round two compared to its opening 296.

The tournament concludes Monday with the final round at Turning Stone Resort's Kaluhyat Course. The event honors the memory of Welles Crowther, the Boston College lacrosse player who died in the Sept. 11 attacks while helping others escape from the World Trade Center.
