LAKE PLACID, N.Y. – Cornell's men's golf team finished seventh at the Autumn Invitational on Sunday, posting a final-round 293 (+9) for a tournament total of 869 (+17) at Lake Placid Club.
The Big Red moved up one spot from their overnight eighth-place position after the final round on the par-71, 6,776-yard Links Course.
Columbia captured the team title at 840 (-12), followed by Dartmouth (841, -11) and Colgate (849, -3). Cornell finished 29 strokes behind the winners.
Tyler Debusschere led Cornell's individual effort, finishing tied for 14th at 214 (+1) after shooting 73 (+2) in the final round. Debusschere posted consistent scores of 69, 72 and 73 across the three rounds.
Shep Davis tied for 21st at 216 (+3) with a final-round 74 (+3), while
Adithya Venkataraghavan finished tied for 29th at 218 (+5) after carding 73 (+2) on Sunday.
Weston Warden shot 73 (+2) in the final round to finish tied for 47th at 223 (+10), and TJ Betlow struggled to a 76 (+5) on Sunday, finishing tied for 50th at 224 (+11).
Viktor Stollinger, who competed as an individual, finished with a 72 (+1) final round, placing 61st at 227 (+14).
Dartmouth's Luke Harper claimed the individual title at 204 (-9), winning by one stroke over Columbia's Neil Kulkarni.
The tournament featured 13 teams competing over three rounds at the Lake Placid resort course.
