ITHACA, N.Y. -- A pair of consistent performances across both divisions propelled the Cornell women's sailing team to a runner-up finish at the Women's Atlantic Coast Championship Round 1B this weekend.
The Big Red totaled 96 points over a weather-shortened nine races in both the A and B divisions, finishing just behind Stanford (61) and ahead of Brown (97) in a tightly contested field of 18 teams at the ACC regatta.

The Big Red will head to Yale for the Open ACC Semifinals next weekend, while sending sailors to St. Mary's (Md.) for its first appearance at the Oyster Bowl. The two-day regattas will commence on Saturday, Oct. 4.
