ITHACA, N.Y. - Cornell women's basketball cruised to a 106-27 victory over SUNY Delhi Tuesday afternoon at Newman Arena, improving to 7-8 overall. The Big Red dominated from start to finish, holding the Broncos to 19.2 percent shooting from the field while eclipsing 100 points for the first time in program history.

The Big Red were led by three players registering double-doubles as freshman
Ally Pape notched 24 points and 10 rebounds, sophomore
Alana Andrews finished with 14 points and 14 rebounds, and freshman
Ashley Childers added 16 points and 12 boards. Freshman
Grace Renners contributed 12 points and
Audrey Chen had 10. As a team, Cornell shot 49.4 percent from the field, 35.5 percent from three, and 77.8 percent from the line, while grabbing 70 rebounds.

SUNY Delhi's (3-13) Aniyah Boston led the team with six points. N'Dera Francis added five points, while Alani Brock, Jonnya Shelling each contributed four. The Broncos shot 19.2 percent from the floor, including 26.3 percent from the perimeter.

Cornell jumped out to a 23-9 lead after the first quarter, sparked by strong inside play that featured 18 first-quarter points in the paint. The Big Red extended its lead to 47-13 at halftime, holding SUNY Delhi to just four second-quarter points on 2-for-11 shooting. Cornell's reserves provided a major spark with 39 first-half points.

The Big Red continued to pull away in the third quarter, outscoring the Broncos 30-9 to take a 77-22 lead into the final period. Cornell's depth proved overwhelming as the reserves continued to dominate, accounting for 25 of the team's 30 points in the quarter, including 10 of Pape's 25.

Cornell closed out the contest with a 29-5 fourth-quarter advantage, with Pape knocking down a 3-pointer with 26 seconds remaining to reach the 106-point mark. The Big Red's defensive effort limited SUNY Delhi to just five fourth-quarter points on 2-for-14 shooting.
