Big Red Falls in Tuesday Night Dual with Bowling Green

ITHACA, N.Y. – Cornell gymnastics fell to Bowling Green 192.900-191.650 on Tuesday in a dual meet at Teagle Gymnasium, its first meet on the second floor of Teagle Hall since 2019. The meet was originally scheduled as a quad meet Sunday, but was postponed to Tuesday due to winter weather, with only Bowling Green making the trip to Ithaca.

The Big Red posted strong scores on vault (48.325), uneven bars (48.375) and floor exercise (48.775).

VAULT 
Addy Rothstein won the vault competition with a 9.750. Noelle Wojcik and Dahlia Jhaveri each posted 9.675, while Sarah Goetter added a 9.650. Michaela DeFrancisco contributed a 9.575, and Cami Whitaker scored 9.200.

UNEVEN BARS
 
Cornell posted a 48.375 on bars, led by Ava Schenck-Davis and Morgen Shambo, who tied for first overall with matching 9.725 scores. Natalia Tehrani finished tied for third with a 9.700. Dahlia Jhaveri added a 9.650, while Addy Rothstein (9.575) and Josie Moylan (9.475) rounded out the lineup.

BALANCE BEAM
 
Natalia Tehrani tied for second overall with a 9.750, while Grace McLean finished close behind with a 9.500, followed by Ella Fox, who scored a 9.375. Mikayla Burton (8.850), Noelle Wojcik (8.700) and Anne MacKenzie (8.650) completed the Big Red's scoring.

FLOOR EXERCISE
 
Josie Moylan and Cami Whitaker tied for first on floor with scores of 9.800. Sarah Goetter posted a 9.775, while Ella Fox and Addy Rothstein each contributed 9.700. Michaela DeFrancisco added a 9.575.
Cornell will travel to Morgantown, W.V., to compete against the Mountaineers, Kent State and Pitt in a quad meet. The meet is scheduled for 7 p.m. from Hope Coliseum and carried on ESPN+.
