Cornell Finishes Fourth at West Virginia Quad

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Cornell gymnastics finished second Friday, posting a team score of 193.275 at the West Virginia Quad Meet at Hope Coliseum Friday night. Cornell finished fourth overall, while West Virginia took first place with a 195.875.

The Big Red posted strong scores across all four events, highlighted by a 48.875 on floor.

VAULT 
Addy Rothstein led Cornell on vault with a 9.750 for the second consecutive meet. Noelle Wojcik and Cami Whitaker each posted 9.675, while Michaela DeFrancisco added a 9.625. Grace McLean scored a 9.500.

UNEVEN BARS 
The Big Red posted a 48.100 on bars. Morgen Shembo led the way with a 9.700, followed by Ava Schenck-Davis with a 9.675, and Rothstein at 9.650. Sarah Goetter scored 9.550 and Josie Moylan added 9.525.

BALANCE BEAM 
Mikayla Burton recorded a team-best score of 9.900, followed by Grace McLean with a score of 9.725, and Anne MacKenzie with a 9.700. Rothstein registered a 9.650 and Getter posted a 9.550. 

FLOOR EXERCISE 
The floor team finished with a 48.875 on the evening, led by Cami Whitaker with a 9.825 and Josie Moylan at 9.800. Rothstein recorded a 9.775, followed by Goetter at 9.750 and McLean at 9.725.

UP NEXT 
Cornell will travel to Philadelphia, Pa., on Friday, Feb. 6 for a 7 p.m. quad meet hosted by Penn.
