– Cornell gymnastics travels to Cortland on Saturday, Feb. 14 for the Empire State Collegiate Championships at 2 p.m.
THE MEET
The Big Red will face five in-state opponents at the annual championship meet, including host Cortland along with Brockport, Ithaca, LIU and Utica. Cornell enters after posting a 192.650 to finish third at the Penn Quad Meet on Friday, Feb. 6 in Philadelphia.

CORNELL UPDATE
The Big Red turned in strong individual performances at Penn, led by
Sarah Goetter's 9.825 on floor exercise to tie for third overall. Goetter also contributed a 9.675 on vault and 9.450 on bars.
Morgen Shambo tied for second on uneven bars with a 9.750 and added a 9.800 on floor in exhibition.
Grace McLean posted a 9.825 on balance beam to finish seventh overall and added scores of 9.675 on vault and 9.625 on floor.
Cami Whitaker continues to lead Cornell on vault, posting a 9.800 at Penn to finish fourth overall.
Addy Rothstein showed versatility with a 9.700 on both vault and floor while adding a 9.375 on bars. The Big Red will look to improve on balance beam after posting a 47.900 at Penn, with
Natalia Tehrani (9.675) and
Noelle Wojcik (9.625) providing solid contributions alongside McLean.
Cornell has posted consistent vault scores throughout the season, averaging better than 48.400 across five meets. The Big Red will aim to carry that momentum into the Empire State Championships as they seek their first team victory of the season.
Whitaker was named GEC Specialist of the Week on Wednesday, Feb. 11, becoming the second member of the Big Red to win the award this season.
Mikayla Burton received the award on Wednesday, Feb. 4.

Cornell scored 192.650 to finish third at the Penn Quad Meet on Feb. 6.
