Big Red Shines on Floor with 48.650 in Third-Place Penn Showing

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Cornell gymnastics finished third at the Penn Quad Meet Friday night at The Palestra, posting a team score of 192.650.

Floor was once again the Big Red's strongest showing with a 48.650, followed by vault at 48.600. Cornell turned in a beam score of 47.900, while the team posted a bars score of 47.500.

VAULT 
Cami Whitaker finished fourth overall with a team-best score of 9.800, followed by Michaela DeFrancisco with a score of 9.750. Addy Rothstein posted a 9.700 and Grace McLean was awarded a 9.675.

BARS 
Morgan Shambo was awarded a team-best score of 9.750, while Ava Schenck-Davis scored a 9.600. Sarah Goetter scored a 9.450, followed by Rothstein with a 9.375 and Josie Moylan with a 9.325.

BEAM 
McLean led the beam squad with a 9.825 and Natalia Tehrani received a 9.675. Noelle Wojcik came in with a 9.625.

FLOOR 
Goetter registered a team-best score of 9.825, tying for third overall in the event, followed by Ella Fox and Cami Whitaker, who each received a 9.750, and Addy Rothstein, who finished with a 9.700.

Next Up 
Cornell will travel to Cortland on Saturday, Feb. 14 for the Empire State Collegiate Championships.
