ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Cornell sailing team finished 15th at the Graham Hall Team Race, hosted by Navy, after two days of competition that featured 162 races and teams from across the country. The Big Red posted a 4-14 record in the 16-team regatta, which was ultimately won by Harvard (21-2), followed by Roger Williams (18-5) and College of Charleston (15-8).

Cornell's lineup included Ava Gustafson, Beylen Gode, Winborne Majette, Marcus Greco and Gilda Dondona with crews Laine Reshefsky, Emil Damji, Anna Iacobucci and others rotating through the boats. The Big Red earned victories over Old Dominion, Miami (Fla.), George Washington and Christopher Newport during the round-robin and consolation rounds. Conditions ranged from 6-20 knots from the west-northwest on Saturday to lighter 5-12 knot east-southeast breezes Sunday as teams completed the initial round robin before advancing into Gold, Silver and Bronze fleets to conclude the weekend.

The Big Red will be back in action when it sends squads to the Kings Point Team Race League and at Georgetown's Blaire Herron Memorial Team Race on Saturday and Sunday, March 21-22.
