. – Cornell gymnastics finished fourth out of four teams at the Maryland Quad Saturday night, posting a team score of 193.175. Maryland won the meet with a score of 196.225, followed by Ball State in second at 195.975 and Temple in third with 194.875.
Cornell's strongest performances came on vault and floor, where the Big Red posted a score of 48.450 on each event.
VAULT
Cami Whitaker posted a team-best score of 9.775, followed by
Addy Rothstein with a 9.750.
Sarah Goetter added a 9.675, and
Dahlia Jhaveri posted a 9.650, while
Grace McLean and
Michaela DeFrancisco each contributed 9.600 scores as Cornell totaled 48.450.
UNEVEN BARS
Ava Schenck-Davis and
Dahlia Jhaveri recorded team-highs of 9.675, while
Sarah Goetter added a 9.650.
Morgen Shambo recorded a 9.625, followed by
Josie Moylan with a 9.575 and
Addy Rothstein at 9.300. Cornell posted a 47.500 on the event.
BALANCE BEAM
Natalia Tehrani and
Anne MacKenzie led the Big Red on beam with scores of 9.775.
Grace McLean recorded a 9.600, followed by
Mikayla Burton at 9.475 and
Lauren Golioto at 9.100. The Big Red totaled 47.725 on beam.
FLOOR EXERCISE
Addy Rothstein and
Sarah Goetter posted team-best scores of 9.750, followed by
Cami Whitaker with a 9.700.
Michaela DeFrancisco and
Ella Fox each notched 9.625 scores, and
Josie Moylan rounded out Cornell's 48.450 floor total with a 9.575.
