Ryndin Leads Four Honored With All-Ivy Accolades in Women's Tennis

ITHACA, N.Y. -- Junior Michelle Ryndin earned first-team All-Ivy League honors in both singles and doubles to headline four Cornell selections announced Thursday by the league office.

Ryndin was joined by doubles partner Sage Loudon, who earned second-team honors in both singles and doubles. Junior Victoria Zhao picked up honorable mention in singles, while senior Emma Baker was named to the Academic All-Ivy team.

Ryndin went 12-11 overall in singles, including an 8-5 mark in dual matches while primarily playing at No. 1. She earned a straight-set win over No. 87 Alice Ferlito of Princeton. In doubles, Ryndin posted a 12-12 overall record and a 9-7 dual mark alongside Loudon at No. 1, including a 4-2 record in Ivy play.

Loudon compiled a 16-12 overall singles record, going 10-7 in dual matches and 8-6 at No. 2. She went 4-1 in Ivy League singles play after a 6-5 fall tournament showing. In doubles, Loudon went 13-11 overall and 4-2 in Ivy action with Ryndin.

Zhao finished 14-11 in singles, including a 9-6 dual record while competing primarily at Nos. 2 and 3. She recorded dual-match wins over St. Bonaventure, Niagara, Dartmouth, Buffalo, UConn, Columbia, Yale, Princeton and Harvard. Zhao also added eight doubles wins, primarily at No. 2 with Andrea Martinez De Los Rios.

Additionally, one student-athlete from each institution was recognized for their performance in the classroom and in competition on the 2025-26 Ivy League Women's Tennis Academic All-Ivy team. Baker represented Cornell after competing throughout the season across the 4-6 singles positions.

The Big Red ended the season with an 8-12 overall mark and were 1-6 in Ivy competition, topping nationally-ranked Harvard on the road after a number of near-misses during the regular season.
