Tuesday's Baseball Game Against Bucknell Canceled

ITHACA, N.Y. — Cornell's home game against Bucknell scheduled for Tuesday has been canceled. The game will not be made up.

Winners of three of its last four games, the Big Red (10-24, 7-11 Ivy League) will return to action this weekend when it hosts Columbia (13-21-1, 8-8-1 Ivy League) in its final Ivy League series of the season at Booth Field.

The three-game set between the Big Red and Lions carries significant implications in the Ivy League standings, as Cornell and Columbia are both battling for the fourth and final spot in the Ivy League Baseball Tournament, which will be held at the site of the conference's regular-season champion between May 14-17. The Big Red currently sit two games behind the Lions, who will first play Brown in a makeup of a postponed game on Wednesday.

The series opens Saturday, May 2, with a doubleheader at 11:30 a.m., followed by the finale Sunday, May 3, at noon. All three games will be streamed live on ESPN+.
