ITHACA, N.Y. — The 13th-ranked Cornell men's heavyweight rowing team swept No. 25 Oregon State in Friday afternoon's races on Cayuga Inlet, winning both the 1V8+ and 2V8+ while also claiming a victory over Penn in the 4+ to open the final weekend of regular-season action.

The 2V8+ produced Cornell's most decisive margin of the afternoon, with the Big Red pulling away by nearly 18 seconds. The 1V8+ followed in the shifting headwind, Cornell winning by 10 seconds.
Cornell closed the afternoon with a victory in the 4+ over Penn by just under five seconds.
